Greenhouse Tip 1
Lean-to style greenhouses require a frost-free footer (typically 36” – 42” deep) and are treated like a home addition for most building and zoning permits.
Greenhouse Tip 2
Locate your greenhouse where your plants will receive morning or afternoon sun, but try to avoid the north side of a building because the sun doesn’t shine on the north.
Greenhouse Tip 3
Plan for shade cloth on the south and west sides of your greenhouse in summer to avoid burning plants. We recommend 60% Aluminet shade cloth!
